Lieutenant-General Shahin Mammadov, the chairman of the Military Council, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, and the Commander of the Internal Troops, who delivered an introductory speech at the meeting, emphasized the importance of increasing combat readiness by addressing the state of military discipline in the Internal Troops, the organization of training work, the results of activities aimed at strengthening the rule of law, and the tasks ahead.

It was noted that, as a result of the resolute policy implemented under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the development of the Armed Forces has been successfully continued, and the independent Republic of Azerbaijan has become the leading state in the region in terms of state building achievements.
After Lieutenant General Shahin Mammadov announced the agenda of the meeting, Major General Ingilab Muradov, Deputy Commander of the Internal Troops, Head of the Personnel Department, made a report on the state of military discipline in the Internal Troops.

The report stated that the personnel of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who duly performed their duties, as always, remained loyal to the state and statism, demonstrated high military discipline and professionalism in the maintenance of public order and internal security in the republic, including in the liberated areas, in the fight against crime and in the performance of service-combat missions.

It was noted that the training work with personnel aims to strengthen the rule of law and military discipline, successfully complete assigned tasks, training of military personnel in the spirit of unconditional observance of the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan creation of a healthy moral and psychological environment. For this purpose, the training activities in the military units were monitored, the state of military discipline was analyzed and appropriate recommendations on the directions of action were made.

In addition, the importance of the historical victory of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Patriotic War and the essence of anti-terrorist measures were widely promoted among the personnel.
It was also emphasized that in order to prevent crimes, incidents, and significant disciplinary violations in the Internal Troops as well as to avoid unfavorable circumstances in a timely way, relevant instructions were prepared and sent to the military units, and their implementation was kept under control.

The speaker also noted that socio-political events in the republic, state-level events are always in the foreground, the ideology and rich political heritage of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev of Azerbaijan were studied, the speeches and conclusions of the head of state on important events were widely used in socio-political preparation exercises and other training activities.

In the report, it was noted that training work was carried out among the staff on the fulfillment of the tasks arising from the requirements of the relevant state programs approved by the relevant decrees of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and promotional work was strengthened to improve the mental and psychological state of young people, to lead a healthy lifestyle, to strengthen the promotion of substance abuse and its harm to society and human health.
At the end of his speech, Major General I. Muradov expressed confidence that the personnel of the Internal Troops will work hard to achieve success in their areas of activity and eliminate existing shortcomings, and will approach the tasks set more responsibly.

Afterwards, reports and speeches on the current situation, achievements in the activity, the reasons for the occurrence of errors and shortcomings and the work carried out to eliminate them were heard from the heads of several departments and divisions of the General Administration, commanders and deputy commanders of military units and their deputies on educational affairs.

At the end of the meeting, Lieutenant General Sh. Mammadov instructed the relevant officials and stressed that the personnel of the Internal Troops will continue to show their loyalty to the people and the state and serve honorably. He also expressed his confidence that, in response to the attention and care of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, he will properly fulfill the duties arising from the orders and instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs, and he will resolutely stand guard of public order and stability in the country together with the police officers. He also wished the military personnel success in their work.
